RINEX data for post-processing
The files in Rinex format can be downloaded free of charge and without the need to register in order to run post-processing differential correction.
The Rinex files are available with sampling times of 1", 5", and 30" for each one of the ten permanent stations in compressed archive .zip format that also includes the observation and navigation files and the almanac. The denomination conforms to the
CORS
convention, according to which the name of the file is composed of four characters relative to the name of the station, three characters that identify the sequence number of the day, and one character that identifies the session time (letters from a to x); the extension identifies the year and file type. For sampling at 1" and 5" the files are available hourly, while for sampling at 30" the file is available daily.
The Rinex files are downloadable from the internet for a period of 12 months; the data relating to previous periods and to additional sampling times are available upon request filling the form in
contacts.
The files relating to the master station of Cervignano del Friuli are available starting from the 1st July 2013.
Until the 23rd November 2016, the Rinex files for Trieste refer to the station located at 35 Via Monte San Gabriele, subsequently, from the 20th December 2016, they have been generated by the new master located at 10 Via Cesare Cantù. The files are available on the
station page.
The Rinex for the station in Palmanova, available until the 19th November 2012, can be requested filling the form in the
contacts.
From 1 July 2019 the Rinex files are produced in version 3 and include the data of the GALILEO constellation.
